From nature, with love. Our Natural cold processed soaps are crafted with plant based oils that contain beneficial properties in maintaining healthy skin.
SHEA BUTTER
Shea butter is a natural moisturiser and is high in vitamins A and E. Shea butter also aids in the skin's collagen production and has anti inflammatory qualities.
COCONUT OIL
Coconut oil contains vitamins A, E and F and is known for it's hydrating properties, as it locks in moisture and creates a protective layer, which could help sooth dry and sensitive skin. Coconut oil also contains Lauric acid which has antibacterial properties.
AVOCADO OIL
Avocado oil is a rich source of vitamins A, C, D and E, antioxidants, mineral oils and fatty acids. Avocado oil also helps to maintain the skin's elasticity and the vitamin E helps to absorb free radicials from the enviroment, that may cause damage. Avocado oil has antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties as well.
CLAYS
French clays are rich in minerals, have absorbing qualities to help draw out excess oils, detoxify and aid in improving skin elasticity. Along with creating a natural colour palate for Malva Botanics soaps.
ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
Derived from coconut shells, activated charcoal absorbs toxins and impurities in addition to cleansing. An ideal choice for acne prone skin.
SEA KELP
Sourced from the Scottish and Irish seas, our sea kelp has an abundance of vitamins and sea minerals. Particularly rich in Iodine, sea kelp can aid in hydrating and softening skin as well as promoting moisture retention for longer periods of time.
Once you have your lovely new soap in your hand, you will want it to last for as long as possible.
A soap bar will last a lot longer if it is able to dry out between uses and not sit in any residual water.
The best way to achieve this is to use a soap dish with drainage holes.
Another option would be to use a soap saver bag, which can be hung up to dry and also helps you to use every last little bit of your bar.
